A Community Effort: Building a home for Richard

In honor of Memorial Day, we worked in coordination with the Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council and provided Richard, a homeless Vietnam veteran, with a new home.

It was truly a hands-on task as our staff and inmates from our vocational training program at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility in Kingman Arizona worked together to complete this new home. Our warden, Jeff Wrigley, said, “We had carpentry people involved, electrical people, plumbing people, heating and air-conditioning people, painting folks — all the trades were involved. We’re quite proud of it.”  You can read the article here.
